- Very strongly for introducing foundation hospitals.
- Moderately for introducing student top-up fees.
- Quite strongly for Labour’s anti-terrorism laws.
- A mixture of for and against the Iraq war.
- Moderately for introducing ID cards.
- Very strongly for the fox hunting ban.
- Very strongly for equal gay rights.
